A little old lady just came to my door, asking for somebody who is neither Becca nor me. I informed her that she had the wrong house, and she apologized, then asked if I would help her down the steps. Being the decent human being that I am, of course I helped her. We linked arms and I helped her down, then she saw that I was in slippers and kept apologizing for making me get them wet. I told her I didn't mind, that they'd dry, and she gave me a hug and said, "God bless you." I feel really good about that (not the god bless part, but the helping her part). Like she would have told my mother that she brought me up well.
That's all.
