Long time, no post
Wow, it's been awhile since I've written in here. That usually means nothing has been going on, but this time it means stuff has been going on. Sort of. I will post in list form.
-We had midterms the past two weeks, which were actually kind of time consuming this semester. Usually I just kind of half-ass my way through them, but this semester required some studying. Some.
-I went up to Kent last weekend to see Rilo Kiley with Lizzie. We actually didn't end up seeing the show, but I had a lot of fun, anyway. I wish we would have hung out more when we lived in the same city; she's a cool girl.
-It's fall break this week, and I went to Chicago for two days. It was fun, despite the extremely hectic traffic, but that's to be expected when you go to Chicago. I visited some graduate schools--The University of Chicago and Loyola University. I actually really like Loyola. Their moderm lit program looks really neat, and the school itself is pretty cool. Plus, despite my lack of religious affiliation, I do think a Jesuit education is very thorough, which I also like.
-My kittens were neutered and spayed on Monday. Desmond doesn't even realize it happened, but Molly's still kind of recovering. Her belly is all stitched up, and it makes me nervous when they play. I'm afraid it's going to pop open and organs are just going to fall out of her tummy. Poor kitten.
-I went to Perkin's with Evan last Saturday. I haven't been there in so long, because I think Jamie and them still hang out there. It was weird to be there, I was honestly nervous going in. I know that's lame, but I really was. Jamie's girlfriend ended up being there, and she was drunk as hell. She gave me big hugs and told me she missed me, and said she didn't want whatever happened between jamie and me to affect us. Not that we were ever exactly best friends, but it was a nice gesture. She probably only said it because she was drunk, but it was really nice nevertheless.
