Psoriasis is a bitch and a half to deal with. My mom has it, and I know she uses a special medication to keep her scalp in check. She also doesn't have to shower every day, so whatever she's using (she's used this for ten years at least) is very effective. What's your doctor given you to deal with it? I'd ask my mom what she uses but she's on another continent and we only call each other on the weekends.

Well my old roommate gave me a tube of a steriod cream that works hella well, but I'm almost out, so I went to the doctor and she told me that I had dandruff. Now explain to me how I have dandruff on my hairline and the side of my nose!!! But this is also the same woman that gave me a vaginal fungicide for some spots that are on my back caused from the heat!!!! I think I need a new Doctor!!!!

Are you sure washing as often helps your skin condition? I find washing too often does awful things to my scalp (I suffer from some skin complaints) It sounds as if your scalp is rather dry. Do certain shampoos and conditioners make it worse?

I usually use pantene prov the one for super dry hair just because If I don't my hair tends to feel corser than it is. I visited a link that is supposed to tell you what your hair type is and they said if you rub your hair together can you hear it, and thats a big can do!!! Well i'm off to school will answer any questions later. Thanks

i have sensitive skin, and i've noticed that if i use most regular shampoos, my scalp itches like crazy. I don't have psoriasis, just sensitive skin, so i cannot imagine what regular shampoos are making your head feel like. Ouch ( ... )
