i have sensitive skin, and i've noticed that if i use most regular shampoos, my scalp itches like crazy. I don't have psoriasis, just sensitive skin, so i cannot imagine what regular shampoos are making your head feel like. Ouch!
I read through the memories, and saw the dozens of warnings about chemicals like sodium laureth sulfate, and others like it, and went out and found a shampoo that didnt have it (I use ABBA now). After the first shampoo my scalp not only didnt itch, it felt happy? (i can't explain it. it was just a really good feeling), and any dandruff i had disappeared. I'm not claiming that the stuff i use is a miracle cure, just that the folks here were right when they said SLS was bad. I never realized that all along it was the culprit. See if you can find something gentler, without those harsh chemicals, and you might find that it doesnt aggravate your psoriasis as much. Thanks to this community's advice about SLS, and ABBA shampoos, my hair is much healthier, and my scalp is itch free and feels great, all after a couple of shampoos.

Go out, read labels, and find yourself a new shampoo. It can't hurt, but it might help.
