I noticed today when I was checking the date to put on the deposit slip for my stimulus check. I didn't notice any ruckus like there was last year for 6/6/06, nor did I feel any luckier than usual.
Saw a bumper sticker I rather liked today: "Jimmy Buffett For President - Gypsies In The Palace" on the back of a beat-up old pickup truck.
Stopped by a Big Lots to check out the prices on some stuff, and picked up a case of Rockstar for $10. Not a bad deal at all. Also, a couple of cans of BooKoo for 30 cents a pop.
Got the quote from the mechanic for the job of replacing the power steering line: $450. Ouch. But much worse when it actually does go. After all, I've already had a brake line fail, so there's definitely precedent.
Hancock is a really good movie. I watched a cam of it tonight, and I really enjoyed it throughly.
I've started to collect cigar boxes from work. They come in handy for any type of collection of small objects.
I can't wait for Thursday. As much as I managed to do today, some of the things I intended to do had to be pushed back because of scheduling conflicts.
