Welp, a few things have happened recently.
First thing, my mom finally closed on her house yesterday. She's a home-owner and she's so excited. I'm excited, too. I get to actually live in a house, again. And this time it will be with clean tile floors and no clutter everywhere. There's a fenced-in backyard for the dogs to run in and a two car garage, which, unfortunately may never be used for parking a car... lol I hope it will, though. When we had a garage at the townhouse, with the room mates, I was the only one with a car for a while and I always wanted to park in there... and was never able to. It was always full of crap.
On another end of the spectrum... my car died. Yup. The car that I still owe over $10,000 to the bank for, died. The transmission went out and is undriveable. I've had to rent a car so I can continue to work.
Fortunately, I've found a shop that will swap out my transmission with a used one for only about $1100. The used one has only 31,000 miles on it, which is less than my car had on it when I bought it. It's also guaranteed for 90 days. So, as long as I take care of it, this one should last me at least two years instead of a measly one year...
We've finally made it to my birth month!! I'm turning 23 in just over two weeks! The closer I get to 25, the happier I get. I'm so sick of paying almost $400 a month for car insurance.... Now I just need to hope and pray that I don't get pulled over any more.It's ridiculous how many times I've been pulled over. Mostly for speeding. And I don't even speed that much. I just go around the speed of the cars around me because I can't be bothered to look around every five seconds for a goddamn speed limit sign. They hide the fucking things, I swear!
