I'm currently a computer technician for Unisys Corporation: Technical Services. I have been for about a year and a half.
I moved out of my mom's house and into a town house with some friends.
I lived there for over a year before moving back out to my mom's house again. Never going to make the mistake of living with friends again. Especially with friends that don't have jobs so it leaves it up to me to pay half the rent in a house full of 5 people... and the other half is paid by the parents of one of the friends. Fuck that.
My mom is fighting right now to get a house. We still live in a trailer and it's in horrible shape. The house we have a contract for is so much better, bigger and has a fenced in yard. I'm so hoping that nothing falls through this time. She's been house hunting for months and this is the closest she's been. Soon her seed money will be eaten up by taxes if she doesn't use it.
I've had yet another failed relationship since my last post. It seemed great in the beginning, as usual. Unfortunately, as it went on, it seemed doomed because her parents were unbelievably shallow, as was her sister. She was in college and very busy all the time. We had different career goals, which, according to her, was a big problem.... Still don't quite understand the logic behind that, but oh well. Needless to say, the problems grew and grew and the benefits died. So it ended. Thankfully it didn't end on a bad note. We can still talk.
Welp, it seems I've run out of things to say today. Hopefully I'll remember to update this thing more often.
