Back at the office
Yesterday I successfully completed the First Aid at Work course. The practical test went rather well: CPR on a dummy, and then I "treated" an unconscious but breathing casualty, and then the same person this time conscious with a cut bleeding profusely from his arm and a broken ankle (how clumsy was he? LOL!).
My casualty was rather stocky and had a beard... oh yes, he was quite bearish!!
Today back at work, and it's been quite an anti-climax I must say!!
Adrian(london1952)'s Mum (now officially my mother-in-law!) arrived yesterday and will be staying with us till Monday.
Today they were going to Kew Gardens, and tomorrow we're book on the Kent & East Sussex steam train for afternoon tea!
