Penicillin, my dear old friend!
I was 1h 20min late into work this morning, as I went to the NHS Walk-in Centre just off Soho Square.
My sore throat came back with a vengeance yesterday: swollen, red and covered in white speckles (and no, I won't post a picture of it).
So I knew it was time for my favourite antibiotics!
The nurse confirmed that it was indeed tonsillitis and prescribed me 80 tablets to take; she said that sometimes sore throats are caused by viruses but that mine was "fully bacterial".
I think I'll skip the gym this lunchtime... what the hell, let's go shopping!
