Day 7 was spent around Gozo.
First stop was another very large dome, Xewkija's The Rotunda
The priest and the people in the church were very welcoming and proud of their huge church.
You could go up to the dome to admire the 360 degree view.
We spent a large chunk of the day in Rabat (also known as Victoria) the capital of Gozo.
The Cittadella is quite amazing with all its walls and defenses that don't live much space to anything else apart from the cathedral and a few buildings.
Also from here you have a wonderful view of the island's villages and countryside.
We visited the small prison and the archeological museum.
After Rabat we went to Dwejra to see the cliffs, the Azure window
Fungus Rock, the Tower and the small "inland sea".
We stayed until sunset. By then even the ice-cream and refreshment vans, and the "parking attendant" who insisted on selling us a Gozo guide with postcards because he was his "livelyhood" were gone.
I think only another 4 people were left: two you can see on top of the cliffs here (yes it was dangerous - and there were signs to warn people off)
and two taking pictures of an impossible Azure window on fire at sunset using an orange filter.
Despite looking promising, sunset wasn't spectacular at all but still better than nothing I guess!
