Is it just me or has LJ been quieter than normal lately?
A number of my friends post very rarely these days and some like the lovely
square_baker have gone altogether.
I have finally got over my cold, even though it left me with a nasty chesty cough. On Tuesday night I was up till 3:30 am coughing.
A coughing fit at work this morning was so violent that I injured my back. I felt a sharp pain in my lower back and it's painful there and down one leg as well.
Oh the joys of getting old! LOL!
This week-end we are going to open our garden for the residents' association Open Gardens event.
FIngers crossed that the weather will be good.
I have potted a number of seedlings in the last few weeks to sell at the event to raise money for charity.
Adrian today found a number of the seedlings pulled out of their tiny pots, probably by a bird I would think!
It's been quite a frustrating week at work. I have done very little real work and spent most of the time reviewing some 'made in India' code and answering endless e-mail from the team over there. Exhausting!
Another reason to look forward to the week-end.
Apart from the Open Gardens on Sunday, plans include dinner tomorrow night with Lynne, her Mum and her Auntie Mary.
