There were so many things to go through. It was almost overwhelming but in a good way. His inner chef was kicking in and his expression mirrored that of child on Christmas (although with a little less enthusiasm because of the lazy look that seemed to dominate most of his expressions). Heracles could probably spend hours on end in the store but the presence that he had done so well at ignoring made himself known ( ... )

The dread that Sadiq had felt earlier increased by ten fold as Heracles began listing item after item. He had to refrain from just leaping over the counter to toss the man out - or strangle him. Either one would be preferable and enjoyable to do. Unfortunately, that would mean his firing as well as a consequential possibility of going to jail for 1st degree murder. Instead he had to rely on his imagination to relive the stress, gritting his teeth and clenching his hands into fists.

"I'm sorry, sir," Sadiq hissed, eyes narrowed from behind his mask as he tried to glare holes through the Grecian's head. "I'm the only one manning the sales counter right now, so you'll have to wait or find it yourself. If it will make you go away faster I can direct you to the correct aisles." That’s was fine though, there were other means of causing the other the outmost discomfort possible. Heracles had to force back a frown as he gave the other a smile. “No, no, that’s fine. I’ll just continue looking for things on my own ( ... )

With each passing moment Sadiq's irritation grew, and he wanted nothing more than to just scream at Heracles to either hurry it up or get the hell out. His only respite from paying attention to him was when the other customer in the shop came up to purchase their items and he had to instead focus on figuring out why the hell the ice cream wasn't scanning correctly. Afterwards, his eyes were back on Heracles, trained solely on the Grecian as he meandered through the aisles. Twice. The asshole. Sadiq made a quiet 'harumph' sound in the back of his throat ( ... )

Heracles was startled by the Sadiq’s appearance and gentle care of the sweets he had been staring out. It was surprising that the man had even known the pastry he had been looking at without even asking him. But, he was grateful, or as much as one could be with someone’s long lost Turkish enemy that he didn’t say anything rude as it was delicately placed into his hands ( ... )
