First off, let me congratulate Obama for being awesome and winning the election ^___^ Good day. I love how everyone today at work really awkwardly asked me who I voted for. They all know it's a "rude thing to ask" but hell, I don't care. I'm the only person they can ask really! When I did say Obama, they let out a relieved sigh and looked incredibly happy - the lot of them! It's fun working at Starbucks :) You see a lot of really interesting people!

Happy 5th of November everyone! Well, mostly just to Lucy...she'll know what it is. I honestly don't know what it is yet, but it's an excuse to party and have fireworks and things. I think it's the American equivalent to the 4th of July only there was no attempt to blow up Parliment there! I'm excited for the festivities tonight.

Another good thing about today is that I'm getting my very nappy and scary hair done today. I'm getting a proper relaxer! Thank God. If any of my friends from Philly saw my hair right now...oh man. I can hear Norma now. "Holly! OH NOOOOOOOOOOO! How did you let your hair get that bad?! Oh noooo! PLEASE let me do something to it - you can't go out like that! *fret fret, worry worry*" Oh I miss her and the girls. (That includes the yellow ones too X3)

Let me tell you how gross my kitchen is. No. Let me SHOW you.

Gnarly, right? Blarg. Yes it was a little immature covering everything in post-its, I know, but the good thing is once I got home, I checked the kitchen and it was cleaned up! Not to my liking really, but things were thrown out and oh it was nice. Put me in an amazing mood. I think that's the only way to get through to Holby.

Last night I was lucky enough to see Monty's performance in "The Country WIfe' He did such an amazing job and you could just tell that everyone in the room loved his character. The whole thing was well done (except for the poor fool who didn't learn his lines) The lead was really great because he learned his lines in three weeks after stepping in because someone else quit the show. Talk about dedication!

I had my critique yesterday for Fashion Design. We had a mini walkthrough and I was forced to wear my friend Sarah's dress last minute. It did fit me like a dream though. It made my bum look lush. =D Sarah was a doll and wore mine. Her boobs were shoved inside the dress haha, but she rocked it.

Well that's my little update for the day. I'm off to get my hair did. ^_^

Random Favo(u)rite:

- Knowing that no matter how many people are sick on the sidewalks in Bristol, they WILL be clean by 7am. :)
- Saying "Mocha" (MOH-Ka) like an American as opposed to saying "MUH-ka" all Britishy-like and seeing all the confused faces at Starbucks.
