So after some discussion on one of the ML's I'm from, I think I have come to what I feel are the two most likely reasons that Sigyn continually is conveyed or believed to be 'abused' by some on the modern community.

I've just commissioned a pair of altar stones for Loki & Sigyn, to be made by the same artisan and along similar lines fo the Narvi & Vali pair I also commissioned about a year ago. It'll be a few weeks or months before I get them, but once I do rest assured I'll be sharing pics of them here.

As has happened much of late, Sigyn has squirreled her way into my thoughts and musings. Bitten by the Sigyn muse, I had to get up at 3am and type this up.

I am one of those ridiculously well-prepared folks. I do my yuletide shopping throughout the entire year, so that I'm usually if not completely done, 90% finished by the end of September. The bonuses to this are of course numerous:

Sometimes the narrow-mindedness of our community astounds me. Choosing to honor Loki, and to do so publicaly... is always a challenge. Many people don't want to touch Loki with a 10-foot pole, ignoring Him, won't make Him go away, and sometimes it is funny to watch how people side-step away from Loki.
