Ummm....
So only a few minutes into Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire, my only thought is, did Stargate rip off Disney, or was it the other way around? There's a lots city of Atlantis that has lots of little flying ships, a forcefield that surrounds the city, and a scholar that looks like animated Daniel Jackson. Although I do not think Michael J. Fox's voice matches the character.
Hmmm... Atlantis premiered in 2004, this movie was from 2001. Although the original Stargate started in the late 90's I think, and started laying the groundwork for the whole mythology including Atlantis early. It's also possible they're both ripping off old mythology i don't know. =)
This is probably only amusing to me because I'm watching SG-1 again. I bought seasons 1 and 2 as a reward for last semester.
