I found a $5 show. In Los Angeles! I went.

The short version: Flawed, but fun enough.

Not bad. I should go back and reread the source material and see if my opinion changes.

This was a buddy road movie with Samuel L. Jackson and the late Bernie Mac as has-been musicians having adventures while crossing the country on their way to the farewell tribute to their late lead singer.

Bernie was funnier than I knew. SLJ was as delightful as ever.

It wasn't perfect, but I had a lot of fun. You should go have fun too.

As usual, Kevin Smith has reminded me of why I love him so. While Porno isn't his best work of all time, it is still oodles of fun.

However, Kevin, you tubby bitch, how could you leave out ( almost insignificant spoiler )

Took the three Elder Spawn to see this one. They did surprisingly well--no panic, only scattered whimpering at the especially tense moments, and no mid-movie potty breaks (YAY!!!!!).
