Eset Internet Security still not installed, and now Windows is....
Help desk technician at Eset had me generate some more logs and upload them to Onedrive. I doubt it helped.
Then another technician (one who I was actually working with some days ago) had me reboot into safe mode and use an Eset uninstaller to get rid of remnants of a hypothetical previous Internet Security install. Or partial instal. I doubt it'd work, but you don't know for sure unless you try, so I went ahead with it and... it's taking Windows a rather long time to let me in. First with the swirling dots of doom and now a black screen and a mouse cusor. * sigh *
