... Ethics... Really

So, this is like JUNE the month INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN as the month when I like DRESS IN BLACK. The reason is equally famous. (If not for anything else, I guess Henrik owes me his fame!!!). So today comes my boss JD and he thinks he1s so funny and says:
"The Girl in Black!!! You are the Girl in Black!!!... They should make that movie..."
I answered him with cold and dismissive silence. I thought it went unnoticed , but it seems it hit him. He was worried I was down. Oh. How Sweet. Why doesn't he ask his secretary why I dress all in black? I know she knows.
Little after "strike of stupidity", I was sent, out of the blue, along with another workmate and "whomever was available" to an "Ethics Seminar". Someone should have asked actually what it was. It seems certain brainless bitch I consider scrap off my shoe, was the one organizing it. The Seminar was at the Engineers and Architects' Professional College (something close to the concept of a "craft" from the renessaince, and prior to the industrial revolution. Kind of like a craft into which you have to sign on in order to exercise your profession officially). Well, it has happened that a "craft" lends the auditorium for an activity. My craft, « Economical Science Professional College » often does so.
The seminar was on the professional ethics...OF CIVIL ENGINEERS AND ARCHITECTS!!!! There was not ONE of us who belonged to that profession!! What the FUCK do I care about the facilities of the college, or when was it funded, or how many members it has, or why they accepted topographs (such as Brother) witout their full Major degree, or that the "logbook" can be asked at any times for inspection, or the fact that the college will ALWAYS check on the cosntruction... or the measurement. Never before, never while, but always AFTER. (duh.)
I pulled out my "Le Mur" and shamelessly started reading. Well, others plain fell asleep. At least I was awake and in the room.
It was bopring and pointless. It was utterly STUPID!!! Didn't they realized what did they paid for?? If they were to send us to the professional ethics speech of a profession other than ours, why didn't they sent us to the seminar of the Lawyer Professional College? At least that's a craft with which all of us have to work with, and of which we are constantly pushed to pick bits and learn... Fuck, I have Law books all highlighted on different subjects in order to do my WORK. Why not that craft? When will I have to do the building of some... building?? That would be the day.
