OMG!!
ECEE just announced David Tennant as a guest!!!! Naturally all of the Whovians in the province have lost their minds. I don't think any of us expected this would ever happen.
But, of course, I actually have plans that weekend. :-P Why couldn't it be on any other weekend when I don't have plans? Sigh... David is doing just the Sunday, so the option to drive up there for one day is there, but I don't think I know anyone who would be willing to go for just the day. My lack of driving skills is finally biting me in the ass.
This would be the perfect con to meet David, though. It's a smaller con, so the crowds wouldn't be as bad. I'm sure the wait to see David would still take a while, but that's a given of any convention. Man, I am so tempted to bug my con buddy into going. I can shrug off not seeing Jenna Coleman or Alex Kingston, but this is David Tennant!! It's the Tenth Doctor!!! I have no idea if they can get him back for the CCEE, so this may be the closest he'll ever be to me. Plus, John Barrowman is also a guest that weekend. You know the two of them would have amazing photo ops together.
I can only hope that David is free next April and he can come back as a guest for CCEE. I would die of geeky happiness if that happened.
