ECEE just announced David Tennant as a guest!!!! Naturally all of the Whovians in the province have lost their minds. I don't think any of us expected this would ever happen

Oh, I really hope you can go! DT is totally worth it, and if he's with Barrowman, that will be epic!
The lines don't have to be long - it completely depends on how the company runs the show. Wizard World tends schedule an event (signing, photo op) for an hour and pack as many people into that time as they can, which leads to having to arrive 1-2 hours early to line up and get a good spot. In contrast, I was pleased with Montreal Comic Con. They broke their events into 15-minute slots and you signed up for a slot, and they didn't overfill each slot. They also did not allow lining up for your slot more than 15 minutes in advance. Thus, you only needed to show up at most 15 minutes early, the line went quickly, and if you did show up late, you'd still get in.
Photo ops went on sale today, but no David/John team-up. That bummed me out. Hopefully John tracks down David and posts something fun to his Instagram.
I wish this company had a time slot system. From experience, you just line up and wait. When the guest leaves, you still wait in line until they come back. They may do a ticketing system for David, since he's only doing one day and he's the biggest guest that weekend, but it's not a guarantee.
I'm still undecided about going, but who knows. I could change my mind at the last minute.
