Lifehacker led me to a tasty site, FindTheBest. Choose a subject, and it presents a comparison of prices, features, reviews, etc., for your perusal. For example, I looked at ebook readers, and was pretty wowed by the comprehensive categories.

Nice day for a bicycle ride at lunch time, as it was still pretty overcast, but not actually raining.
