Crochet: Fun in the Sun Hat
Have you been curious to see that hat I was loudly complaining about last week. Well, here it is.
The end result turned out to my liking. But this should not have been as hard to make as it was. It's a *SIMPLE* hat. It should have been a simple crochet. But it wasn't. If I eliminate all the false starts and the time spent re-engineering the design, I spent about 7 hours on the hat. But I swear, those were 7 very long hours.
From the beginning, the mesh was a concern of mine. I'm not good at making consistently sized chains. But because I needed to crochet tightly, I could keep these chains consistent. Because crocheting chains too tight is something I do well.
