I watched Be Cool last night, and I enjoyed it. It's not quite as good a film as Get Shorty, but it is more lighthearted and in a number of ways more entertaining, including the ways in which it makes fun of itself as a sequel film. It's missing Gene Hackman and Renee Russo, but it adds Harvey Keitel, Vince Vaughn, and Uma Thurman. But the kicker that makes it all worthwhile: The Rock playing a gay guy, practicing a two-girl monologue from Bring It On. Priceless.
