In welcome contrast to Tuesday night, I slept like a rock last night. Well, an active rock; my covers were a bit wonky when I woke up. But I was refreshed and perky as I listened to my new MacGyver ringtone tell me it was time to get up. :D
I spent the first hour of my day toiling away at an effect for my new vid because I was struck by inspiration and didn’t want to let it slip past. Then I thought I ought to work on my paper a bit, you know, be productive, so I did that. It’s coming along quite nicely! Then I had lunch (grilled cheese) and watched an episode of Stargate that I didn’t mean to, but was still good. Whittled away more of the afternoon listening to commentaries. Then I thought I ought to go shopping so I made my list and went. Stocked up on a bunch of stuff as well as buying hamburgers in order to get some meat in my diet. So I’m going to have one of those tonight, along with some corn. Delicious! (I hope).
Ran into an interesting person on the bus ride home. A lady on the bus was wearing what looked like clown makeup and had multiple face piercings; she was perched on her seat with her feet underneath her. She started telling me (well, I think she was talking to me…it wasn’t really clear…) how she was on five different painkillers and how she accidentally brought her DVD remote out with her instead of her mobile phone. I wasn’t really sure how to react so I just kind of nodded and smiled. Really odd encounter, overall.
