I recently received a Zelkova as a present and this being my first bonsai, I would like some professional (experienced) opinions. The gift giver was told that this was a completely indoor tree. I've found conflicting information online. I've attached photos of what it currently looks like because some of the leaves have a yellowish shade to them. I mist it once a day and keep water in the reflecting pool. I also water it a small amount once a day. I use only bottled water at room temperature for all three of these (misting, reflecting pond for the evaporation, and watering). I want to make sure that the current position is sufficient (i.e. enough sunlight, not enough sunlight, less watering, more watering, outside, inside, outside in shade, inside with low light, etc). It is the plant sitting on the table next to the aquarium. I don't want to risk putting it right at the window because I do have cats and my cats do like to mess with my plants.

Also, any websites with accurate, trustworthy information would be greatly appreciated.
