I should update!  Happy belated Thanksgiving, everyone.  Hope all of you who celebrate it had a great day. Mine was nice.  I went with my parents and brother to my uncle's house.  We brought some of the dinner and he made some. We ate, and played Apples to Apples (Apples to Apples, yay!).  It was fun and relaxed--I think my family is more calm and ( Read more... )

Hope the new cell phone treats you well; did the Cingular one not work out?

Ravioli sounds like a nice addendum to Thanksgiving. :-) I'm actually a huge fan of stuffed dumpling foods from every culture I've tried; potstickers are probably my favorites, but ravioli, pieriogi, gyoza, etc. are all very, very good.

I like Science, Art, and More; definitely a fan, and I think that most of their stuff is also quite entertaining to grown-ups. Did you buy anything?

We're doing pretty well, all things considered. The husband is on fully normal foods again, including pie, while I just got queasy from eating a radish. Sigh. I guess a few more days of boring food are indicated... but I'm more up-and-about-ish already, which is nice. And yay for Thanksgiving leftovers meaning that my husband could eat in a healthy manner while I was kaput (this does not mean he *did* - I think mashed potatoes were disproportionately consumed to vegetables, for instance, but he could have)

The Cingular one lost it's charge after about a half a day, after charging all night. Which is not entirely practical, in my life. But thank you very much for the option!! I bought a new one at all, because it was more than half off the normal no commitment price (and they let me extend the contract to two years from now, which they normally wouldn't do, and which isn't very long since we just got the new contract).

Mmmmm yes, me too.

Yeah, definitely entertaining to grown-ups, at least ones like me. I didn't buy anything, but I have some ideas of things I want!

Glad you are both recovering--hope you feel better soon!! It's sad he was sick for Thanksgiving, but thank goodness for leftovers.

This is totally me - I'm a dumpling fan.

I followed the footsteps of windandtherain and was wondering if you'd like to friend one another. Or if not, if you would mind me friending you. I'm glad that you had a nice Thanksgiving!
