(no subject)
I should update! Happy belated Thanksgiving, everyone. Hope all of you who celebrate it had a great day. Mine was nice. I went with my parents and brother to my uncle's house. We brought some of the dinner and he made some. We ate, and played Apples to Apples (Apples to Apples, yay!). It was fun and relaxed--I think my family is more calm and more fun when it's just a part of it at once (my mom has three siblings--it's fine when everyone's together, no drama or anything, but it can be awkward. This wasn't awkward). And then we drove home (to my parents) and did random stuff and sat around and talked for hours, and I drove my brother home and went home myself, and got home at midnight. And ate ravioli, because I didn't actually eat *allI* that much, and we had Thanksgiving dinner at 2:30.
On Friday I had lunch with
thought1 and his wife and kid, and we went to Science, Art, and More, which has science and art toys and books and stuff for kids (and adults, at least I think so!) and had great fun. I think the adults were more excited than the kid, although he had a pretty good time too. And came home and fell asleep on the couch--don't know why I was so tired!
Saturday I worked, and bought a new cell phone for not too terribly much money. So now I can reliably call people whose numbers are in my phone, because the screen doesn't go blank. And, it's pretty, so that's nice. Work had a flood (water main broke) which has been interesting. Lots of loud fans and dehumidifiers--I feel all dried out today.
I had lots of things to say, but now I forgot. How are you all?
