I refinanced the house yesterday.

Our credit union has a thing where you can modify an existing mortgage, changing term and interest rate without changing anything else, and without the astounding amounts of fuss and paperwork that go into a whole new mortgage. I have jade plants all over the house, to the extent that anyone who comes over is likely to be offered one (or a dozen).
