hey guys. sorry, this isn't a "thoughtful" or "profound" entry, just a bunch of random liz yammering.
so, today...
TAKS TEST - that was crap. again we had people who took like 3 hours to finish, good for seniors, bad for hyperactive liz. alan and i continued to draw pictures, gossip, and make racist jokes about our respective cultures. the funny thing is, in debate last year, marissa and i argued for standardized testing. now the folly of my argument has come back to bite me in the ass.
DEBATE - i love this class. now that everything's said and done, we just have 2 hours to chill every B3. we've done everything from eating at chipotle and caravelle to shopping at richardson square mall and target. today we [or rather, i] were poor, so we just did arby's. which turned out to be too much for my $5 budget anyway, so i mooched off of grant. i have a system, a days = scott, mark, and magen [kind of], b days = grant [a.k.a. uncle moneybags/ monopoly man/ rich white protestant male who is gets no financial aid], jameson, chris, and whoever else happens to be in the car. it's nice being friends with people who have money. anyway, after that, jameson and i begged chris to drive us to the roach feed and seed to play with cute little animals. after a lot of my whining, chris and grant finally agreed.
grant: don't they have ducks there?
me: yeah!
grant: i love taunting ducks.
haha grant is awesome. but yay! it was so fun. they had little chicks, and ducklings, and bunnies! and everything was so cute and fuzzy!
then we went back to school and in
ANATOMY - we dissected cats. eww, they are 82751983579823473 times [i took the banging random numbers on the keyboard thing from michael] stinkier now than they were when we started last week. today we cut finally cut open the thorax portion of the cat and looked at its insides. it was actually pretty neat [skinning the cat last week was not neat].
and in other news...
tomorrow i'm skipping school to study for my tests. i've actually been really sick this week, but had to drag myself to school anyway for taks. it was gross all the sniffling and sneezing going on in my room. and after my test i snored and drooled all over my physics comp book because my nose was stuffy. actually i drool all over my books anyway, since my face is suspended over my books when i sleep. my pre-cal book is soaked in my saliva. alan made fun of me, but i really do have to study. and i know some people are taking more tests than i am, and blah blah blah, but you don't understand! i have no concept of physics [funny how physics is the only completely logic-based test i'm taking]! and sat ii's and ap tests are just gonna suck.
yesterday i showed michael some pictures of when i went to key west and miami the summer after 8th grade. i was very distraught as a result of seeing those pictures. it put the icing on top of the "evidence that i'm getting fat" cake:
1 - i'm so out of shape for soccer it's not even funny
2 - i have major rollage when i sit down
3 - i struggle to fit into pants that used to be loose on me... last semester
4 - alan and michael make fun of my fat, but they're not joking
5 - my body was a lot nicer when i was in MIDDLE SCHOOL.
:( quitting cross country, track, and school soccer has taken its toll on me. so has skipping club practices to do homework. i used to think that all that working out did nothing for my appearance, but wow, i'm so wrong. and i will never be able to get in that kind of insane shape for a long time. if i tried to do a track workout today, i'd have a heart attack. so what, do you ask, is liz going to do?
i'm going to invent a procedure where they suck the fat out of my abdomen and thighs--and inject it into my boobs.
I AM A GENIUS!
p.s. i still live in the stone age and have crappy 56k, so i can't look at cool stuff you send me through aim/email or tell me to download. sorry guys. and yes, i still don't have cable either. only my books and graphing calculator :(
