Or she can make it a reality. The tough part is going to be "how"
Kiss or Kill LA booking policy
We love good music and the bands that create it.
We ask all bands to take their Kiss or Kill booking as seriously as we take it. Bands that do not will no longer be considered. Please read the points below if you are playing/would like to play Kiss or Kill. They are some simple guidelines that will help you get booked and help your show be a success. Kiss or Kill is an amazing scene. Your participation will help keep it that way.
Thank you. -Cooper and Johnny 99-
#1 The most important point of all.
The strength of Kiss or Kill is that it is a community of bands and fans who love music.
Come down and hang out on Tuesdays. Bring your band. Get to know the people who you want to play with and for. Drop your show flyers (so we can come see you) off to Cooper, John, Matt or Andre (as we don't book on demos). We're all there. Every Tuesday. And for the most part none of us bite.

We ask that all bands playing Kiss or Kill not play on the Eastside of Los Angeles for at least one week prior to your Kiss or Kill booking. Unless of course you have the opportunity to open for a national act. In that case...go get 'em.
#3
We ask that all bands promote their Kiss or Kill bookings. That includes flyering (at Amoeba, Aron's, the Echo, etc.), calling your friends (yes, we know it's a pain, but it does work), e-mailing press, e-mailing your mailing list, e-mailing the Kiss or Kill Yahoo Group at kissorkillclub@yahoogroups.com, sending out MySpace bulletins, etc. If you're too poor to print up flyers we will always have flyers available for you to pick up at the club one week prior to your show.

Kiss or Kill is a fairly genre-specific night. Please only submit if your act is punk ('77 style), power-pop, new wave or some wierd hybrid of the aforementioned styles.
