Come one, come all...
Yeah, I still haven't recovered from Thursday's concert. Too amazing.
Yesterday I realized that it was time to give out bids, since they voted on the rushees at the meeting on Thursday. There will be 20 members of the Omicron pledge class, but I only know a few of them. lol. So I decided last minute that I wanted to give out bids...
I'm glad I went because not many people showed up at all. I had to dress up and go to my 4:05 class (so I felt like the sorority girls that have to dress up on certain days of the week) and then walk to the Union straight after class. Lindsey, Sarah O. , Curtis and I decided to go together. As we were walking to Rawlings to deliver a bid to Chris, Mike W. and Alex went walking by us and called out to us. "GO HOME!" we told them. lol. So... we definitely had good times handing out the bids. Chris, Alex, Mike W., the other Mike, Nikki, and Amy were all good sports.
However, after watching Lindsey and Sarah run through the fountain by Buckman, the skies decided to open up and drench all of us. Lindsey, Sarah, Curtis and I had to walk back to Lindsey's car, which was by the stadium, from the Fletcher common room. With my Molds, Mildew, Mushrooms and Man packet shoved up my shirt, we walked to her car (it's impossible to run in a skirt, or a dress, or heels). By the time we actually made it in, we all looked as if we'd just jumped into a pool. But we were all laughing and having a great time. And hey, Curtis might do concert band with me in the Spring! woot?!?
Then Dalia, Owen, Shelcie, Jonathan and I went to Nappy's for karaoke night. I saw two of Teresa best friends leaving, but they didn't recognize me I guess. Anyway, the place was busier than I've ever seen it, so we couldn't sit in the karaoke room. Now Nappy's is fun, but not exactly known for its food (other than the fries/ranch dressing), but it was still a good dinner. I've missed Dalia soooo much. Can't wait to have her actually living here in the Spring. Back at home we played DDR and Smash Bros for a loooong time. At least I beat Jonathan ;)
