Amusement...

I must say, we have some good times here in E303.

Last night was the reunion of most of the Stealthy Sheep. First, Dalia, Shelcie, Elaine, Roxanna, Kim and I went to dinner at Chili's. It was the first time since April we'd all been together... of course that meant hilarious conversations and much picking on Shelcie ;).

After dinner, Dalia, Shelcie and I went back to Lakeside with Elaine to pick up some alcohol from her stash. It was SO weird to be back in Lakeside. I really do miss that place, but I definitely don't miss the dorm rules. Since Elaine lives in the same building and Calvin is still her RA, I left him a message on his dry-erase board= "You know you miss us!" Elaine says he tells his new residents stories about how crazy we were... we're Lakeside Legends!!!

Back at Lexington, they all began drinking as I worked on my article for MMC2100. After completion, I joined the festivities. Smash Bros became a drinking game, and amazingly enough I didn't lose! Then we brought out the classics: Fotch, Circle of Death, F the Dealer and Egyptian Rat. Elaine, Dalia and Shelcie loved the "in my pants" rule I learned over the summer. Our favorites:

Elaine: "Pause for a moment, I have to go pee... in my pants (obviously that was intentional).
Liz: "RETALIATION IN MY PANTS!!!"
Shelcie: "Whose turn is it in my pants"

This morning Dalia left to go back to Miami, so I said goodbye and then went back to bed. At around 1ish I woke up and went to use Michael's bathroom since mine is having issues. I walked out to find Owen holding his trash can with a look of horror on his face. He called me in his room and had me look in his tub. Inside was a monstrosity of a frog. Seriously, I think it could have eaten Michael's hamster if it wanted to. So after careful strategic planning by Owen, Jonathan and I, we were able to remove the frog from our apartment without harm (to us, I mean).

So then tonight, Michael, Owen and I are sitting in the living room. Michael is playing Mario 64, Owen is being a backseat player, and I'm reading my book for African Lit. I casually mention that Kim is getting engaged to Mike. Michael whips his head around, pauses the game and says: "WHOA!" Guess I should have given him a little more warning. Then I dropped bomb number two, by informing Michael that Kim would be a step-mom. Somehow Michael never found out that Mike had a kid...lol.

FUNNIEST MOMENT OF THE DAY: Michael brought back a couple MRE's from Pensacola. He opened up a chocolate mint cookie, and tried to take a bite. The cookie was hard enough that I think the people downstairs probably heard the crunch. So I was already laughing at that, when Owen, in a moment of pure genious, decides to try to break off a piece. The cookie exploded, sending chunks flying in all directions, but mainly throwing projectile crumbs at Owen's face. Between watching the cookie explode and seeing Owen's reaction, Michael and I were just hysterically laughing until we were both crying. Ah, gotta love nights like that.
