Spork Search was awesome. Only two random people were brave enough to ask us about what the shirts were for, but we got plenty of funny looks. YAY! lol.
Devin(my "little bro" Devin, not to be confused with D-flow) and Sarah rode in my car to tampa, and the ride up was spent with Sarah and I catching up (I hadn't seen my best friend since August, because she's been in Ireland studying abroad)while Devin read Harry Potter.
At Busch Gardens, we met up with Nirali and Neha and bought our tickets. Katie, Josh and Kris met us inside the park, and we headed to Montu.
We rode Montu twice right off the bat, which was awesome because it was windy and it made the ride seem even faster. Then we rode Gwazi, and Devin and I tried to make a funny picture but it didn't work either time we tried (we rode both Lion and Tiger).
I spent the day getting hugs and cuddling with the best "lil bro" ever, and laughing at the irony of this. Waaaaayy back in the day I had a huge crush on Devin, and now he's one of my best friends and I really do view him as a little brother. I remember back in middle school, wishing I could get to know him better. And then to think that five years later I spent an entire day walking around a parking arm-in-arm with him. So cute. LOL. Katie kept saying: "No Liz, that's the wrong Devin!" hehehe.
When we rode Kumba, we all finally made it on the same car. So Me, Devin, Nirali and Katie were in the second row, and Kris, Josh, Sarah and Neha were in the third row. The camera is on the first drop, so I decided to do the Nu class symbol for the picture being goofy. When we got off the ride, we all went to look at the picture.
When we saw it, we DIED laughing. My Nu class symbol came out great, but what was even better was the fact that for some reason, Josh's head was blown up so that it was like 5 times bigger than the rest of ours. His head took up the entire seat on the ride! We're scanning it and passing it around, so whenever I get it, I'll post it. OMG. SO funny!
We rode the train around to kill time so that we could ride Montu in the dark, and feared for our lives because the "wild Bongos" were on the loose. HAHAHA.
Finally we took some group pictures, watched Josh and Kris have an ice cream eating contest, and then rode Montu with the stars poking out. SO awesome.
After Busch Gardens, Nirali and Neha took us to this mexican restaurant they found over the summer when they went to USF, which was really yummy.
Afterwards, we said goodbye and hopped back in the car. Adam (my "big brother") actually called me back, so we arranged a time for him to meet Sarah and I back in Arcadia. Sarah hadn't seen him in a year, and I hadn't seen him since August, so we were both excited. We went back to Sarah's house and I got to see that her kitty Amory (Adam in cat form, I swear) has gotten really big. Adam arrived, and we got hugs and then sat in Sarah's living room chatting for hours.
The newest incarnation of Adam includes red-highlighted black hair, multiple piercings (eyebrow, two nose, an industrial and mulitiple ear piercings) and he says he's getting more soon. LOL. We ate some of Sarah's mom's christmas cookies (omg, those things are the best.. I love Christmas at Sarah's house)and took some goofy pictures. Then at 2:15 AM, Adam and I both headed out. While the three of us were standing outside talking, we saw a shooting star. Talk about a perfect ending to a wonderful day!
I love the fact that my friends from high school can all come home from college (except Kris and Devin who are still in high school), get together, and have it seem like no time has passed at all. I mean, Sarah and Nirali have been at college for a year and a half now, and it's still the same. SO great. It's also cool that Neha and I are still friends, because she's been my longest running friend ever... we met in first grade, and have been good friends ever since. That's pretty damn impressive.
When we took the group pictures, it was funny because everyone broke into siblings, except for Katie and Kris (the only "dates" for the spork search). Sarah and Josh are siblings, Neha and Nirali are sisters, and Devin and I are "siblings". It's just funny because when I thought of that group, I didn't think of Josh as "Sarah's brother" or Nirali as "Neha's sister"... no... each are one of my friends. I find that cool.
Hope to have the pics soon. I have one picture left on the camera. LOL.
I also love having my old playlist on random. I have some really great old songs on this computer (all from 9th-10th grade, before I got my laptop). Good times.
