NO COMMENTING FOR YOU
I'll be damned...LJ support actually answered my question. It turns out that anonymous commenting is currently disabled for reasons that were not explained. LJ developers are aware of the issue and working to fix it but in my opinion they need to step it up...this has been going on for nearly a year if not more. And now, since I know they'll answer, I'll put in another request to get help getting my theme back, hopefully. Wish I had sent in the support question before I changed themes, but oh well.
It's July 1st! Halfway through 2022. Good grief, how is that possible? I guess I should be thankful that time flies in order to get me closer to things I am anticipating, even though it is going ridiculously faster every year.
I have the house to myself. You'd think it would be quiet but there are 3 fans going so it's kind of buzzy. It was supposed to rain but it keeps not happening so I went out and watered the garden to help it get a move on. Maybe I should have washed the car instead...that's a rain guaranteer, isn't it? I had a yummy dinner that include the first summer artichoke, and I bought pistachio and cheesecake gelatos (gelatoes? gelati?) for dessert but I'll wait a little bit before I break that out. Maybe I'll find a movie to watch, one that no one else ever wants to see. Maybe I'll just read. Who knows! The evening is wide open!
My friend Russell just offered to try and help me get my theme back. I don't think he knows what he's getting in to. :D The only thing I have to do tomorrow is make the rice krispie treats and start the pasta salad. Oh, and do laundry. There's always laundry. Then I can play around with LJ the rest of the day.
