This past weekend pochacco906 and smiledoggie came over to hang out and craft, and it gave me the perfect opportunity to finally finish this knitted project, which I started a couple of months ago. Knitting the pieces didn't take too long. They were actually finished a while ago and sitting on top of my craft shelf just waiting to be sewn together. That's always what takes me the longest when making a plushie - putting together the finished pieces.
That right there is a giant potato pillow. Or "couch potato," as I call him, since he lounges on the couch all day. He stands very tall at 20" (51 cm) and is perfect for cuddling or resting one's head on. I made this big guy for my 3-year-old niece who loves the Disney Junior television show Small Potatoes. I'm thinking of making more, in a variety of "potato styles."
