March 3 marks the celebration of Hinamatsuri (雛祭り) in Japan. It's a special day for girls, whose homes are often decorated with dolls - ohinasama (female dolls) and odairisama (male dolls) - dressed in traditional Heian clothing. I bought this doll set last year at the Japanese market. Aren't the little dolls cute? They look like tiny eggs!

So...I've recently started watching Korean dramas. I know people who've been watching them for ages, but I never understood what the big deal was. When I was home sick from work one day last month, I started watching my first Korean drama (Boys Over Flowers) on Netflix instant streaming. After I finished all those episodes, I started watching two other shows. Those who say Kdramas are addicting aren't kidding!
