I'm back from what was probably my most significant time spent in the deep south (Florida doesn't count; I spent some time in Savannah, but that's at least coastal). It was definitely southern from all angles. It was B'ham Alabama, obviously, and the South regional conferene of NACA, and even the students with whom I was traveling were some rebs.
