Notes: Written for tw100 challenge #200 Reverse Fandom: Stargate SG-1, prompt "Beast of Burden" and inspired by this cat.
When Gwen came by Tosh's workstation, Tosh was sitting back watching video on her monitor with a trace of a smile.
"What's this, then?" Gwen asked cheerfully, pulling up a chair.
"Just watch... it's about to get good."
There was a soaring shot of Cardiff at night-Gwen spotted the Millennium Centre. Beautiful film, though a bit shaky; the camera seemed to be hand-held, swooping into an alley where it offended a feral cat, then back up to skim over the city and eventually the suburbs.
Gwen suspected this camera operator was not human.
"I know you've got a strong stomach," Tosh said, "but this next part is, um-"
Gwen opted to keep watching as an unfortunate fox met its end... and something familiar stabbed into the camera's view.
"Is that... a beak?"
Tosh grinned. "We were curious about Myfanwy's nighttime activities. Ianto helped me fit her with the camera."
Just then Jack swooshed by, informing them of his destination: "Out for the night."
Gwen shook her head. "I wonder what hedoes..."
In her hands, Tosh was turning over a small camera. She looked slowly from it to Gwen, eyebrows raised.
Their fit of giggles lasted a full minute.
