SPN Rewatch - 1x04 Phantom Traveller
My favourite episode of season 1! :D Another long review.
This guy looks familiar, but I can't place him. And I've checked his name and the list of movies he's been in - nothing else I've ever watched. So I guess he just looks a bit like somebody else. Not sure who though.
Anyway, the demon smoke looks different in later seasons, and it also enters through the mouth not the eyes. I personally think the eye idea looks cooler.
DEAN: What time is it?
SAM: Uh, about 5:45.
DEAN: In the morning?
SAM: Yup.
DEAN: Where does the day go?
I love how concerned Dean is about Sam not sleeping enough, and how he denies being concerned. And aw, poor Sammy is even too tired to argue.
The random guy is funny - "Poltergeist? Oh man, I love that movie!" - and Dean seems to think so too.
As Dean comes out of the copy store, he's checking out the girl. When he turns back to Sam he mouths "Wow." Haha, typical Dean!
According to Wikipedia, Flight 401 was a real plane that crashed in December 1972, but I can't find any indication that parts were salvaged and used in other planes.
I love Dean getting frustrated with Max Jaffey, and Sam having to take over.
In the background when Sam and Dean are discussing how strong you'd have to be to open the emergency door, there is a random person in white behind Dean who appears to be dancing. I'm thinking they're playing soccer or something, but it looks like dancing and it's funny!
SAM: And all those years did you notice anything... strange about your husband?
WIFE: Well, he did have acid reflux, if that's what you mean.
LOL! No, that's not what Sam meant.
I love how uncomfortable Dean is in his suit, considering how they become such a regular thing in later seasons.
LOL at Dean wiping his fingers on Sam's jacket.
Sam randomly unbuttons his jacket as he's running away.

Oops, I've spent the last 15 minutes watching the episode instead of talking about it! Uh...
Ok, I just have to say how funny scared Dean is. And Sam keeps smirking.
SAM: Just try to relax.
DEAN: Just try to shut up!
I love how Sam keeps calling Dean back to tell him stuff. I also love how Dean hits the back of the seat.
Their usual roles are reversed with Sam trying to calm Dean down.
The Walkman/EMF reader is cool. It's undercover too - Dean can check for EMF and people think he's listening to music.
Poor Dean is so jumpy!

SAM: You really believe that?
DEAN: I will if you will.
And Sam's look! It's like he thinks Dean is so immature.
Another difference in this demon - it talks like the Goa'uld from SG-1.
Haha! Dean's face! I think Sam is the only person on the plane who didn't scream.
Dean looks like he can't believe he's still alive.
And there we are, back to Dean reassuring Sam.
Twice in the episode, during far away shots of the Impala driving, it's drifting over the centre line!
