okay so one of my friends wants to make a home video with me-- one with lots o' fight scenes. I'm totally psyched. However, I can't do the movie at all if I can't get my computer to capture video. I think the problem mainly lies in the fact that I have two sound cards in my box right now, and I think my comp is freaking out. I plan to take one card out today, but if that doesn't work, I will be very sad. I've been avoiding taking out that second card because I'm afraid of the moment I discover that I'm helpless against the craziness that is my computer.

Another comp problem: Stupid stupid www.i--search.com keeps taking over everytime I open up explorer for the first time. Like, the page loads itself, and then it fills the whole screen. The only way to close it is with the task manager. I'm so mad at those stupid companies that impose thier sites upon you. Do they really think I'll want to use a service that pisses me off? That should be illegal. Like pop-ups are one thing. They're annoying, but at least you can close them or block them. But to get the i--search off my computer, I'll have to erase my hard drive. Not even changing my IP address did anything. I consider i--search vanalism because they are altering my computer in such a way where i'd have to take drastic measures to change it back to the way it was. Where as pop-ups are like flyers taped to your wall, i--search is graffiti spray-painted on.

Yeah, so the super sucky thing is that I can't erase my hardrive because there is a lot of great software I'll lose forever if I do that. Frustration! Eventually I want to own licenses to that stuff so that reinstallation will never be a problem, but I can't afford to spend all that money right now. :(

Does anyone know how to sic the internet police on i--search?
