YAY! I finally got rid of i--search, i think. I had to uninstall explorer and start using Mozilla. Hopefully they won't find me again. Like, when I changed my IP address, i-search didn't pop up for a few days, but eventually it attacked again. I hope this time it's gone for good.
Other excitement-- I finally figured out how to get rid of that stupid MSN passport launch thingie that was refusing to get off my task bar. In case ya'll are having the same problem, you go to Add and Remove Programs and then you select Add and Remove Windows Components. Explorer, Outlook, and MSN stuff are all components, apparently.
Now I'm beginning to understand why so many people are pissed off with Microsoft. It can be invasive.
Now I have two final computer tasks at hand: 1) I must get my video/sound capture card working. 2) I must figure out how to get roadrunner's page to start overriding my homepage. I forgot to take note if Mozilla fixed that.
I'm kinda sad I had to say goodbye to explorer-- Mozilla seems less simplistic. Oh well.
