Some great news today.
I got some information about that French program. They're closed until the 14th, which explains the radio silence on their part. This means that I might not make it into the four week program, but I can take the three week one. Plus, chances are good that they have continuing programs into the fall. I've talked with Bosslady about this, and she's more than willing to accommodate, which is freaking awesome. The best part of this is that the summer sessions for French end around when the school I've got my heart set on is supposed to be in touch.
This means that I'm going to get at least SOME French in if I get the job, and go on to shoot for fluency if I don't.
Also, it turns out that I'm eligible for application to a Masters of English Education (it goes by a different name, but that's close enough) at a local University. Applications are accepted at the beginning of 2012, the program starts in the spring, and it looks freakin' amazing. If I'm not employed by that point, then I am totally going to go into it. If I am employed, then I can either not apply, or just say no thanks if I'm accepted.
On top of that, I have the day off.
This calls for a touch more coffee, music, and a really awkward dance party of one after everyone else has left the house for the day.
