I am such an idiot.
Amazon.com sent me an email about books I might like. Now, whatever your feelings about those folks, they do come up with inspired suggestions, and relatively cheap books. (especially for those of us not yet used to paying UK prices for books! aiee, that is all I have to say.)
Well, the merits of checking my email when I have an exam tommorrow? Questionable at best, but then again, when I have been much for working hard? Hardly working, that's more my speed. (Ha, you thought I could get through a whole whine without using that phrase!) So I am an idiot on two counts.
Moving quickly along, I decide to buy some books on Amazon as I have a gift certificate. So I start looking, and my brain goes: "Well, I wouldn't have put it on the wall behind my monitor, that's a sensible place." I hunt through the house for it, wishing I could activate a search engine for it. (haha.)
I'm despairing a bit, and I realize I might have to start doing my work again when I grab a pencil off my desk...and find the paper certificate.

I am writing my Foreman and Dief fic again. And getting distracted by my SGA fic. Whee. I could make a painful pun about writing slowly, but I am not quite sure how I could work it all.
