I've been meaning to talk about this here but I wanted to wait until things were official. I received a promotion at work! I'm no longer working as a receptionist (which I'm seriously so thankful for, that position was starting to wear me down). I'm now working as a Content Usage Associate! We had our Halloween party at work today. Employees brought their kids in and they trick or treated around the office. We had food, music, and a costume contest for the adults. It was a great time! I was also happy because I got to wear my super easy and inexpensive costume. I dressed up as...

Last weekend my BFF Kari and I made our annual trip to Rakkasah West in Richmond. I'm happy to report that we were both very successful in our shopping endeavors!

There's no easy way to say this. My mom had a bit of a mental breakdown on Friday. She started attacking my step dad because she didn't recognize who he was. She thought he was there to harm her and apparently kept going on about having to protect her "babies." It eventually got so bad that John had to call the police to take her to the hospital. My office has been hosting a Twilight movie marathon this entire week. Each day during lunch they'll play about an hours worth of one of the movies in ascending order.
