pumpkin season is upon us!
I am so excited that it is now officially October! This is by far my favorite time of the year. I love the smell in the air, the cooler weather, the way that the trees look, and seeing pumpkins everywhere. It also makes me feel extra spiritul and greater in touch with the Goddess. I'd love to do some sort of Samhain ritual this year.
Oh, and let us also not forget about Halloween! I would really still like to dress up with Alex as Daniel and Vala, but I'm not sure if that's still going to happen. Halloween is on a Sunday this year after all, and that means we both have to get up for work in the morning. Stupid responsibilities. Also, we don't know anyone who's throwing a party this year, so it might not be worth it to dress up. I would really like to, though, it doesn't feel like Halloween without a costume. If worse comes to worst we'll simply hang out and have a horror movie fest.
The faire is going really well. We're approaching our third weekend and the theme is Bacchanal/Masquerade. Should be fun! Oh, and there's this video I want to share with you guys. Last weekend a peasant by the name of Jacob D Peachbottom proposed to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth! Hilarity ensued and our Queen was left speechless! Check it out:
