National Strawberry Shortcake Day planning
As many of you know, July 4th is my self-proclaimed National Strawberry Shortcake Day, wherein I hold a party and invite all kinds of sundry weirdos that I call my friends. It has become, over the years, quite the social event -- I think last year we hosted 30-40 people. It hasn't quite grown to the point where I need to hire a caterer yet, thankfully ;)
Anyway! I'd like you to save the date for said party - July 6th! As usual, there will be an abundance of delicious local food, grilling and marshmallow toasting, swimming and boating on the lake nearby, romping through the woods, and indoor pastimes for those who don't like sun and ticks.
In general I invite local people primarily, but if you are from out of town and would like to be on the party list, let me know, and I shall add you.
