Jason and I just got back from St. Paul, MN where we attended the ECC Annual Meeting and Jason became an Ordained Minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC). He's worked long and hard for this. Congratulations, honey!

The baby dolls have been dressed as many things over the years. But Scott's "Scarecrow Politics" sermon yesterday inspired Bryn to make these efigies. (Possibly Scott's best sermon ever, by the way. Click on the link to listen.)

Bryn has been invited to display her artwork and read a poem that she wrote at the RochesterInk Contest of Words and Images! Her drawing will be on display at the Pittsford Barnes & Noble community room from now through Sunday, and this Saturday they are having a little ceremony at B&N where the participants can read their poetry aloud... although ( Read more... )

The Artisan pastors held their first "Pastors 'n' Pints" night tonight down at The Old Toad, so I tagged along with Jason to see what it was all about. I hardly ever get a babysitter so Jason and I can go to things like this together, but I love the Toad and haven't been in a while. Ah, Hell Week is finally over. I worked 32 hours at my office job and 12 hours with the diaper service. I'm going to sleep for so long tomorrow morning. And then I'm going to go volunteer at the Park Ave. Arts Festival for four hours tomorrow afternoon with our church.
