The Retail Gods are Smiling

What a great weekend. There is nothing in the world like a little retail therapy once in a while. So I took Friday off. For me, this is like a national holiday. The first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. Yes, I was there at Bell Square at 7:10 AM, only 10 minutes after they opened (and only because I was stuck in traffic), and I had to wait an hour and a half for a dressing room. I LOVE that crap. Seriously. I am sick. I bought a bunch of super cute clothes, a GREAT purple leather wallet, a cute blue leather business card holder, some great shoes, a pair of earrings, and some socks.
Sat. was spent with the parents, we went to the casino, gambled a bit, then came home. Dustin and I went out to dinner, and then saw Charlie and Chocolate Factory. I am in love with Johnny Dep. Yes, I am. I think he was the best Willy Wonka ever. I want to see it again. Darn if those Umpa Loompas weren't pretty funky fresh. (I cannot believe I just said that) So that was nice. Date night I guess, which we haven't done for......oh forever.
Sunday was Dustin's retail therapy day. We went back to Bell Square to the Nordies sale and hit the mens section. We got him some jeans, a couple shirts, a wallet, some socks, and a few pairs of shoes. Fun was had by all. I also bought myself a very pretty Tiffany Silver necklace. Yes, I have always wanted something from Tiffanys, but have never bought anything there. I don't wear much jewlry, just my wedding ring, but I wanted ONE good necklace that I could wear with everything. This one is very simple, silver and has a long charm on the end of it. It is nice.
So yes, a great weekend of movies, gambling and retail thearpy. It was fun. We don't do that very often.

So my huge condo deal is supposed to close next week. Lets all pray to the Real Estate gods that it will, because that would really be a nice check and would help us pay off some bills. Now I'm getting bored again though. I need someone to find a house for. Anyone know of anyone looking for a house? I miss driving around trying to find homes for people. Hopefully something will happen soon.
Ok, I'm off to watch "How do I look". It's one of my guilty pleasures!
