Fast times in Edmonds
Wow, I have been busy. I have been trying to keep up with reading LJ but have failed miserably. Sorry everyone! It seems that I am never home. My dog is mad at me, my husband never sees me, and my Grandma called to make sure I was alive the other day. But that's good, because I love being busy!
I sold a $925K condo the other day. To an older couple. That wanted to pay cash. *sigh* If only some day I could do that. Can you even imagine? Wow. Of course, it isn't that easy and they have quickly turned into the biggest pain in my butt ever. But, hopefully it will all work out. I did list their condo downtown Edmonds, so it is really neat to drive by every day and see my name on a sign! Go Lisa! (ok that's more than enough)
So I walked with some other people in our office in the annual Edmonds 4th of July parade and handed out candy to kids. I remember when I used to ride my bike in that parade, with my red/white and blue streamers. Now I'm handing candy to kids. I'm getting old. However, we were right behind Lynnwood Dodge, and the brand new 2006 Dodge Charger. I was drooling. I want that car. I will have that car. It looks like a shark. Well, maybe not a shark, but it does look pretty cool. Yes, I do have a new car, and my car is cute, but this one is cool. I think one needs both a cute car and a cool car right? Yeah right.
Anyway, life is good. I love my job, love where I live, have great friends, a wonderful family, a very cute dog, etc. etc. Yes, I am still getting the "when are you having kids" question from everyone, and my answer is still "not anytime soon". Although I must say looking at Miss MJ's LJ makes me want to have children like nothing else has thus far! I figure lets pay the bills, buy a house, and get a little more settled first. That seems like a good plan to me.
Ok, I'm beat. I went to a concert last night, then karaoke, which I haven't done forever. I am not used to going out so now I'm exhausted! What an old lady I am. Oh well!
Oh, I am SO taking Friday off work. I will not answer my phone. It is the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, and I will be there for the first time as a CUSTOMER only, not an employee. My God this will be a good day! Ok, bed for me!
