Vegas Baby!
Well, after my big deal things have slowed down at work. I was told that this is normal for the month of August, but I'm bored! I miss driving people around looking for houses. I have been concentrating on what I am going to do the next year or so, and it's been good, but I really do miss the whole searching for homes part. We got a new broker in our office and I think that is going to be great.
Dustin and I went to Vegas for a couple days to get away. It was great! I have to say though that I don't like the changes they have made to Treasure Island. I miss the big Pirate sign, and the piarate show. I think they are catering much more to the 21 year old crowd now, with the half naked "sirens" show and the burlesque dancers in the new club they have. We spent a lot of time at the Mirage, where we actually gambled a bit. We came home with money in our pockets which beats coming home empty handed, but we didn't win a lot. The new Ceasers mall is incredible! I could spend a whole day in there looking at things. Although I must say, as a plus size girl, Vegas has VERY few shopping options for me. I wish that some of these designers would pull their heads out of their butts and realize that they have a huge market that they are missing out on. When you look at the people walking around Vegas, the majority of them are NOT a size 10-12. Oh well, other than that we had a wonderful time. I feel like our vacation was way too short. I'm ready for another one already!
Ok, that was a short update, but I have to go run some errands. I just wanted to let everyone know I'm alive. I am so bad at updating this thing. Oh btw....it is really weird to go back a few years and read what your life was like then. I did that last night. Very strange! Oh yeah...and if any of you know someone that wants to buy a house, send them my way please! I need something to do!
